「ふくら秋シリーズ」。秋らしいモチーフを集めたシリーズです。
招き猫に菊をあしらった図柄です。
その昔、猫は穀類や蚕、経典などの財産をネズミの食害から守る縁起物でした。
招き猫は江戸時代に広まった考えられている日本を代表する縁起物です。
招き猫のうち、右手を上げているものは金運を、左手を上げているものは客を招くとされています。
菊の花言葉は「高貴」「真の愛」「生命力」などを表し、とても縁起の良い花とされています。

「ふくら」は、古くから日本でおめでたいとされているカタチを和紙で立体に成型した小物入れです。文字通りふっくらとして手のひらやポケット、カバンの中などにさりげなく納まるサイズです。昔ながらの和柄からモダンなデザインまでお好みに合わせて選んでいただけます。

越後「小国和紙」の手漉き和紙が原料

新潟県長岡市小国町は雪の多い年は３m以上積もる豪雪地域。「小国和紙」は、冬の副業として江戸時代から作られてきました。100％楮（こうぞ）を原料として、繊維が長くたいへん丈夫なことが特長の和紙です。新潟県で有名な白根の大凧合戦の和紙として、また新潟県長岡市の有名な酒蔵のラベルなどにも使われています。
その原料の和紙をひとつひとつ型で成型して作られる手づくりの商品です。
